Hello. My name is Sarah Furlong and I am a casting producer currently working on a new docu-series. We are looking for fun outgoing families that own firearms and shoot for fun or sport. If you have teenagers living at home or know people who do, we would love to talk to them. I can be reached at 310-857-8575. My company is Metalflowersmedia.com. Scroll down to Americana.

We will also be casting One Man Army for The History Channel in a few weeks.

We've sort of done this...I put up several videos of various shotgun rounds at the 5, 10, 15, and 20 yards on a target. We shot 3 rounds of 3 different types of ammo (two different types of 00 buck and one of #1 buck). Honestly that's a pretty good idea about putting a watermelon behind the wall

In a good conversation with a friend of mine (3 tour Vietnam Scout Sniper) we discussed selection of rounds for 12 ga. home defense. His argument was, that over the distance of 20 feet (size of a room) that #4, or even #6 shot, was plenty and would "cut a man in half" (he really meant just getting the job done) without the overpenetration of 00buck. I have seen some videos of penetration of 00buck, but not on #4 or #6 shot - especially as it relates to a home defense situation, and no comparisons. You have posted some video of #4 shot on a cantalope, thank you for that. What I would really like to see, and I think would be very interesting food for thought is a direct comparison of 00, 0000, #4, and #6 at a distance of 15 - 20 feet, looking at penetration through multiple layers of drywall, and damage to targets (melons, water jugs, ballistics gel, etc).

Is this something you can explore and get back to me with?

Thanks
