A Semi-automatic Pistol is a pistol capable of firing multiple shots by pressing the trigger alone. This can be either a Revolver or an Automatic Pistol. Photo by bk1bennett

Semi-automatic means that a single bullet will be fired each time the trigger is depressed, until empty or jam. Capable of very high rates of fire depending on the shooters ability to repeatedly press the trigger.
