Shooting Web Sites

GunBlast.com is an extremely well thought and nicely writing firearms web site.

High Speed Shot Photos offers some of the more interesting shots on the web today. Obviously this is something we’d like to do on StoppingPower.info, but since we’re not doing it yet, I figure we can at least refer people to a site that’s doing the job well.

Gun-Tests.com is always out there. It’s primarily a way to drive people towards their subscription service (which I’m not subscribed to currently), but their information is usually pretty decent.

The Box of Truth has fairly similar goals to us, but goes about it in a different way.   And this certainly seems a case of “different doesn’t mean better or worse, just different,” the site is probably of interest to you if you’re already on StoppingPower.info.

Soldiersystems.net – just discovered this blog the other day, and they seem to be putting out some really good coverage. Of course they expand on equipment outside of firearms, but likely most readers of stoppiingpower.info will still like their coverage.

DemiGod LLC is based out of Colorado and has put out a variety of articles for the Shotgun News. A good deal of related articles are also available from his web site. This site is also a good resource for shooting related events in the Colorado area.

Milspecmonkey.com is a great resource on gear with pictures. Generally has a nice writeup on the gear. Also make sure you visit the store and their custom patches.

Movies

IMFDB.org is a nice site if you’ve ever wondered what gun was being used by a character in a movie. Fairly comprehensive information is provided, in ”’wiki”’ format.
